Make Money Through Affiliate Marketing

ByAmit Beriwal
Before discussing what is Affiliate Marketing one must know what is an AFFILIATE? When a person or a group of person, a company or an organization becomes a part and forms a close relationship with another, usually a larger group or organization to sell and promote their products, their services then that person or group is called an affiliate.
Now, generally large companies having large range of products appoints affiliates to sell their products. Though the purpose of affiliate's is to sell products of another company yet they can't be called sales man as they design their own marketing programs and strategies and based on their sales they get their remuneration.
Affiliate Marketing is simply an internet marketing technique. It is often used by webmasters or blogger's to generate revenue from their site or blog.
This is a great opportunity for the aspiring affiliates to make money online. One needs to simply search for the right affiliate program that has the right product for you to sell. There are many large affiliate networks such as Amazon.com, Shareasale.com, ClickBank.com, Affiliatebot.com etc. that can help you to find right products at right place.
There are thousands of affiliate programs available containing hundreds of products to promote and sell. Register yourself with any of these networks and select the products you want to sell. Now you can place the banners or ad of those products on your website or blog.
There is again two ways according to which you will get your commission and make money. Those are:-
Per Sale
Per Action.
Per Sale
In this way affiliate gets money based on per sale. As soon as someone purchases any product through an affiliates site or blog he gets his commission for that sale. This affiliate Commission is generally in between 4% and 75% of the sale revenue.
In per sale commission rate is highly depended on the product or service that you are selling. Suppose you are selling two products. One is an e-book and another one is a digital product. Commission that will be given on the sale of digital product will be much higher as compared to the commission given on the sale of the e-book. This is so because selling a digital product requires more effort as compared to selling an e-book.
Per Action
In per action, affiliate is paid by the merchant only then, when he is able to direct the visitor to the merchant's site and he performs some action like registering them to merchants site, filling forms, taking free trial of a product etc. The merchants will clearly mention what type of action do they want visitors to perform and based on those actions affiliates are paid.
The key to both of the above mentioned method is TRAFFIC. The more traffic you are getting to your site, the more chances of getting success in affiliate marketing is.

How To Set Up A Successful Pay-Per-Click Campaign

If you are familiar with Pay-Per-Click ads, then you know that these types of paid search marketing work by putting ads on the side bar of your search engine or web site and are used to bring people to your web site. The concept is pretty simple. You create an ad.You place a price upon its worth. And you submit it to a search engine. When someone clicks on that ad, you are charged a price for it and they end up on your web site. You only have to pay if someone clicks on it. Sounds pretty simple, doesn't it? But now for the tricky question. Are you getting your money's worth from these ads? Ninety-nine percent of the businesses that use this type of advertising do not understand it. They send people to their home page and don't even know why the person came there in the first place. What's worse is the person who cost you that advertising cost leaves without you ever knowing what they were looking for. How much does this cost you each month? Does this mean that you...
