3 Simple Step For Newbie Affiliate Marketers

Affiliate marketing is in simple terms the case of you the affiliate promoting the merchants product and earning a commission on any sales or leads that you make. It's essentially like a joint venture, where both parties gain a profit. The merchant has gained free advertising and more customers which in turn increases his/her sales, which they would not have had if not for the Affiliate.

Affiliates market the product(s) by any means they wish to capture leads and sales which gives the Vendor more free time and saves them money from expensive advertising. when a potential customer clicks the affiliates link and buys the product or recommends it to others, you as the affiliate collect a percentage of the sale which can be anywhere unto 75%. At the same time the merchant also increases their profits.

Some Affiliate programs do not require you to make a sale to get paid, some offer commission for when potential leads sign up for a particular service. This is because that person is now on the product owners customer list and they can promote to them again in the future via E-mail, thus increasing their chances of profit. To make money on the internet as an affiliate you need to follow these three simple steps to get you started:

1) Do some research and try to identify a niche that you are passionate about, this way you will find it easier to do the work and won't get bored and give up when you get frustrated. Check the competition in the said market to see if it is worth entering. You may find that it is too saturated and not worth pursuing, if this is the case dig deeper but be persistent.

2) Find a good paying merchant with high converting products. A good place to start is Clickbank.com which is free to join. Make a list of programmes that interest you and which adhere to the above, but also check the gravity as this will tell you if it is selling well, the higher the better. There are plenty of affiliate networks around so be sure to check out your options before jumping straight in.

3) Having decided on the product and merchant you are going with, it's good practice to buy a domain name and either build your own website to send potential customers to or forward your domain to the product home page. Try to avoid using your HOP LINK Url because people generally will not click through it. It not only looks ugly but people know what it is, but your own domain name will look much more professional.

Now your ready to start promoting your chosen products which will be the hardest part when you first start out, it will take time but never fear because there are plenty of articles and info on this subject online to help you out. Affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick path although there is a lot of hype claiming this, but that said you can also make money quickly if you promote your product well. Just be prepared to have to put the time and effort in to see results and be creative with your campaigns.

The truth is that most affiliate marketers give up because they don't make money in the first few days and look for another program, make the same mistakes and brand affiliate marketing as scams. If your willing to put in the hard work there is no reason why you can't succeed and earn a great profit, there is no limit to your earning potential as long as you stay dedicated and push forward.

How to Crush It With Facebook Ads

It seems there are a lot of people out there that have a negative view of using pay-per-click advertising to build their list. Paid advertising is in fact one of the BEST ways to authentically and rapidly build your list with highly qualified and motivated leads. But, you have to be willing to pay. So, as an Internet marketer, I strongly feel that online ads are an integral part of any marketing campaign. It's our duty (and sometimes a challenge) to design ads that catch the user's attention and get them to click on it. It's as simple as that. One of the more popular places where online ads have been growing in popularity is on Facebook. The social networking site has over 750 million users - which demonstrates a massive reach when it comes to offering your services into new markets. Thus, it makes sense that Internet marketers have been using Facebook as another platform (along with Google AdWords) to extend their marketing campaign. But, there is a catch. What is the...
