Blogging Income Secrets Exposed - 7 Common Blogging Mistakes

Whether you blog to sell your own products or to promote affiliate products, blogging (when done correctly), can increase the number of traffic that will visit your site time and time again. The trick is to have some long keyword phrases that will make people slam on their eyeball brakes, stop what they're doing, and read your blog. This is easier said than done because most bloggers use flaily, uninformative information when blogging. Be crisp, clean, sharp, and to the point!

Blogging Income Secrets Exposed

Here are the 7 common mistakes

1. Believing that people will read the entire post / article. Let's be blunt here, people are too lazy to read the entire content in your blog. It's a known fact that less than 20% of the people will actually read the whole content. People tend to skim through the material until they find something that interests them, so get to the point and do it quickly before you lose them.

2. Not using keyword phrases in the first line of each paragraph. This is a no brainer, again, look at number 1 above. People won't read the whole blog or article, they skim for the good stuff so you need to peak their interest by putting it in their face right off the bat. Be sure your article / blog contains more useful stuff and less non meaningful fluff!!

3. Not using bullet points or number. This will also help with the skimming tendencies people have. Bullet points or numbers gets people to stop skimming for a few seconds. Right then and there, you have them, so you need to have the good quality keypoint appear right after the bullets or numbers.

4. Not promoting your products or affiliates in the blog. Blogs are intended to inform people, entertain people and to have you speak your opinions first then sell something later. If you come across as being pushy by trying to sell first your readers may feel pressured and leave your sight, probably for good. Set your blogs up to be sincere about their interests and needs. Make sure they gain your trust and creditability then you may focus on a sale later.

5. Not including your URL or website in your blog or article. This is one of the biggest mistakes people make and I have seen it. Some bloggers write a quality post or article and forget to include their contact information. You need to have your website URL plastered into your posts or article. In a month from now, people may not remember what you wrote about but they may remember what website the post was generated from.

6. Making the post or article way too long. It is easy to get away from your point by typing too long of an article. Remember, people don't read they skim. Get to the point and do it fast, it's best to have the mentality that less is more. If your article or blog has more than 750 words you may lose the reader sooner rather than later.

7. Not submitting your post as an article. This is by far the biggest mistake of all! Submitting your blog as an article will give you backlinks to your website. People will visit again and again, this is called a sticky articles. You will get ranked by Google for good quality content and will rank higher on Google if you have the right keyword placement in your article. However, there are a couple of rules you need to follow in order to get your article submitted and ranked by Google.

a. You need to have a low % keyword density ratio (2 - 5%). This is how many times your keyword shows up in the article. Google will slap you for having your keywords plastered all over your articles so you need to be selective on your placement. Anything with a keyword density over 10% is guaranteed to get nuked by Google.

b. You will need to have your article submitted by an agency like EzineArticles, they also have a critical guidelines you need to follow, that is, you can't have your website URL mentioned within the first three paragraphs of the article. I would suggest placing it in the fourth paragraph and in the conclusion paragraph.

How To Set Up A Successful Pay-Per-Click Campaign

If you are familiar with Pay-Per-Click ads, then you know that these types of paid search marketing work by putting ads on the side bar of your search engine or web site and are used to bring people to your web site. The concept is pretty simple. You create an ad.You place a price upon its worth. And you submit it to a search engine. When someone clicks on that ad, you are charged a price for it and they end up on your web site. You only have to pay if someone clicks on it. Sounds pretty simple, doesn't it?
